COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS

Through its Occupational Observatory, the UMH offers its students the opportunity to gain technical and professional experience related to their studies by completing internships in companies and institutions. This allows students to apply their knowledge in a real-world context, while also adapting their skills and knowledge to the workplace. Furthermore, companies benefit from the knowledge of these students, and the internships also serve as a preliminary selection process for potential future employment. Benefits:

  1. The possibility of carrying out studies that the company considers necessary and interesting and that it cannot carry out due to the absence of suitable personnel or lack of time.
  2. It constitutes one of the most suitable and economical means of having qualified and trained people to perform any type of work in accordance with their training.
  3. It serves as an optimal pre-selection process for a future employment contract, not based on intuition or specific tests but on a real and prolonged test that allows verification of the candidate’s training and qualities.
  4. To obtain a vision of the company from a trained and qualified person outside of it, and therefore without the biases that any organization can generate in its employees.
  5. The company expands its sphere of relationship, which generates a better understanding of it in its environment, favoring new possibilities for action.
  6. It collaborates with society by facilitating and improving the practical training of students, which results in an improvement in the training of future managers and professionals.
  7. To better meet their future needs for trained professionals, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the market.
