The University Entrepreneurship Program (PEU) was created in 1999 and aims to promote entrepreneurial initiatives among students, graduates and staff of the UMH.

The University Entrepreneurship Program (PEU) is responsible for stimulating business creation from two perspectives. On the one hand, it creates the necessary conditions so that all members of the university community with entrepreneurial aspirations can have their questions answered through advisory services, training, and advanced consultations. On the other hand, it encourages business creation by highlighting the value of entrepreneurship, showcasing success stories to serve as examples for new entrepreneurs, and promoting the ideas and projects generated in various forums.

In this way, the Miguel Hernández University is committed to promoting entrepreneurship in a comprehensive way, from all possible areas of support, in order to generate business creation, employment and wealth in the socio-economic environment of the province of Alicante.

The PEU offers the following services and activities:

• Awareness-raising activities , highlighting the role of the entrepreneur, showcasing the advantages of starting a business, highlighting success stories, and encouraging the emergence of potential entrepreneurs.
• Once entrepreneurial interest has been sparked, the necessary training must be provided . This is made possible through existing agreements with various partner organizations.
• We also offer advice to clarify any doubts that entrepreneurs may have in various areas: legal, commercial, labor, tax, technological, accounting, financial, etc.
• For its part, the UMH Mentoring Program , in its aspect of supporting entrepreneurs, gives you the possibility of having an experienced professional accompany, guide and advise you in the development of your idea, project or company.
• “Consultants for University Students” Program . The PEU offers its participants this initiative, which allows them to ask questions or receive specific advice on aspects related to the development of a business project or a newly created company.
• The ” Validate your business idea: Innovate and launch “ competition awards innovative business ideas originating from the university community.
• Activities of the ” Innovative Entrepreneurship Campus “, a collaborative project of the 5 public universities of the Valencian Community that is launched thanks to the collaboration of the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
