The Faculty of Social Sciences and Law of Elche and the Occupational Observatory will be holding their  30th Employment Day , this year dedicated to  Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, and the Double Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism . You will have the opportunity to hear from active professionals and UMH alumni about the professional realities of these degrees .  It will take place on  Monday, November 9th, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM , in Room 4 of the Atzavares Building (Elche campus). In addition to representatives from the Faculty, the Occupational Observatory, and UMH Alumni, the following will participate:

• Reme Cano Gallego . Journalism graduate. Journalist at TVE . Alicante news unit.
• Adrián Romero de la Osa Hernández . Alumni of Audiovisual Communication. Marketing Manager at Tapstar .
• Óscar Ato Calderón . Journalism Alumni. Strategy, copywriting and marketing at Grupo Antón Comunicación .
• Miguel Ángel Rives Martínez . Journalism graduate. Press officer for the Socialist Municipal Group of Alicante.

On the other hand, if you complete supplementary training to the Employment Day (available in the section “ Courses and Days ”: “Days” of the  Occupational Observatory website ), you can validate the activity for  0.5 optional credits. 

The aim of this event is to facilitate contact with the professional world and to familiarize you with the professional landscape of your degree, the most in-demand profiles, the most valued skills and competencies, and the different selection processes. This will all be achieved through presentations from participating companies, organizations, and graduates. You will learn what other professionals in your field are doing, about the Occupational Observatory (the UMH service that helps you find your dream job), employment tips, and much more.
