External Extracurricular Internships

During the month of August, the University is closed for its official non-working period. Therefore, the processing of external extracurricular internships through the Occupational Observatory Identified Access platform will be subject to the following deadlines.

When can I access the application to formalise my internship?

The date depends on your planned internship start date.

▶️ If your internship starts between 1 August and 6 September 2026

You must complete the application process before 24 July 2026.

In addition, for the internship to begin during this period, all documentation must be properly signed before 31 July 2026.

⚠️ If all documentation has not been fully signed by 31 July, the planned start date of the internship cannot be guaranteed.

▶️ If your internship starts on or after 7 September 2026

You will be able to access the application from 23 August 2026 to begin the process.

⏳ Please note: At least 15 calendar days must elapse between the date you submit your application and the internship start date.

Example: If you submit your application on 23 August, the earliest possible internship start date will be 7 September 2026.

Until when can internships take place?

Internships linked to the 2025/26 academic year must end no later than 30 September 2026.

Internships linked to the 2026/27 academic year must end no later than 31 August 2027.

Curricular Internships

Curricular internships are managed according to the deadlines and procedures established in the course guides for each degree programme or subject.

If a subject does not appear in the list of available internships, it means that the application period has not yet opened for that subject.

Pending internships for the 2025/26 academic year

If you need to complete pending curricular internships from the 2025/26 academic year in order to be assessed in the extraordinary October examination session, please note the following:

• Prior authorisation from the Programme Director or the course coordinator will be required.
• Once this authorisation has been obtained, the application process with the Occupational Observatory must be completed before 30 July 2026.

⚠️ Do not wait until the last few days to begin the process.

Internal Internships

Internal internships follow a specific administrative procedure.

Unpaid Internal Internships

Unpaid internal internships must be processed within the same deadlines established for external extracurricular internships.

Paid Internal Internships

Paid internal internships follow a different processing schedule.

If the internship is due to begin on 15 September 2026, the entire administrative process must be completed before 31 July 2026.

⚠️ Due to the specific administrative procedures required for this type of internship, the planned start date cannot be guaranteed if all documentation is not completed within the established deadline.

Change to the Maximum Internship End Date

To align with the new academic calendar and standardise internship management with other university administrative procedures, the maximum internship end date will change from the 2026/27 academic year onwards.

Internships corresponding to the 2026/27 academic year must end no later than 31 August 2027.

This change will apply to all internships managed from the 2026/27 academic year onwards.
