How to Request a Certificate of Completed Internships

If you need a certificate of academic internships completed during your studies, below we explain how to request it depending on the degree you have completed.

Degrees (excluding Medicine)

Graduates of any degree except Medicine can download the certificate directly from the UMH Electronic Office:

You only need to log in using your digital certificate or other electronic identification systems to obtain it immediately.

Medicine Graduates

For graduates in Medicine, there are two different procedures depending on the university of origin:

Medicine Graduates from UMH

They must request the certificate by submitting a general application form addressed to the Career Observatory (Observatorio Ocupacional).

General application form – Electronic Office

The request should include all relevant information to facilitate the processing of the certificate (personal details, internship period, etc.).

No additional documentation is required.

Medicine Graduates from UA

They must follow the same procedure: submit a general application form addressed to the Career Observatory, including the necessary information to identify the internships completed.

ℹ️ Other Considerations

Doctoral studies do not entitle the student to request an internship certificate, as these programs do not include academic internships that are eligible for certification.

Certification is only possible if the applicant received a scholarship or financial aid linked to doctoral studies before February 4, 2006, the date on which Royal Decree 63/2006, of January 27, approving the Statute of Research Personnel in Training, came into effect.
