he Faculty of Experimental Sciences and the Occupational Observatory will be holding the 29th Job Fair for Environmental Sciences graduates, where you can hear from active
professionals and UMH alumni about the professional realities of this degree . It will take place on Wednesday, February 26, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM , in the Auditorium of the Arenals building (Elche campus), and will feature the following participants:
- Roberto Rodríguez Caro : Assistant Professor PhD in the Department of Ecology at the University of Alicante.
- Nuria Pascual Gisbert . Environmental Education Technician of the Serra del Maigmó i Serra del Sit Protected Landscape. Vaersa Natural Parks.
- Ferran Climent Àngel : Co-founder of REDECO EC and member of the board of the Official College of Environmental Scientists of the Valencian Community (Responsible for the section on entrepreneurship and networking).
- Laura Coves Fernández , Technical Coordinator of the Official College of Environmental Scientists of the Valencian Community.
On the other hand, if you also complete supplementary training to the Employment Day (available in the section “ Courses and Days ”: “Days” of the Occupational Observatory website ), you can validate the activity for 0.5 optional credits.
The aim of this event is to facilitate contact with the professional world and to familiarize you with the professional landscape of your degree, the most in-demand profiles, the most valued skills and competencies, and the different selection processes. This will all be achieved through presentations from participating companies, organizations, and graduates. You will learn what other professionals in your field are doing, about the Occupational Observatory (the UMH service that helps you find your dream job), employment tips, and much more.
