The Faculty of Medicine and the Occupational Observatory will be holding the  29th Employment Day for  Physiotherapy graduates, where you can hear from active UMH alumni about the professional realities of the field .  It will take place on Thursday, February 12th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM , in the auditorium of the Severo Ochoa building (Sant Joan d’Alacant campus). In addition to representatives from the Faculty, the Occupational Observatory, and UMH Alumni, the following will also participate:

• A representative of the Official College of Physiotherapists of the Valencian Community .
• Aarón Miralles Iborra : Physiotherapy Alumnus, UMH. Researcher at the UMH Sports Research Center. Master’s in Performance and Health, UMH. PhD in Sport and Health, UMH.
• Marcelo Peñaranda Moraga : UMH Physiotherapy Alumni. Master in Performance and Health UMH. Sports Rehabilitation Specialist for Elche CF.
• Emilio Jiménez Coll : UMH Physiotherapy Alumni. Associate Professor of the Physiotherapy Degree. Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy for the Management of Neuro-Musculoskeletal Pain. Oncology Patient Support Unit (UAPO Foundation).
• Marina García Saugar : UMH Physiotherapy Alumna. Associate Professor of the Physiotherapy Degree at UMH. Physiotherapist at Villamarco Espacio de Salud.

On the other hand, if you complete supplementary training to the Employment Day (available in the section “ Courses and Days ”: “Days” of the  Occupational Observatory website ), you can validate the activity for  0.5 optional credits. 

The aim of this event is to facilitate contact with the professional world and to familiarize you with the professional landscape of your degree, the most in-demand profiles, the most valued skills and competencies, and the different selection processes. This will all be achieved through presentations from participating companies, organizations, and graduates. You will learn what other professionals in your field are doing, about the Occupational Observatory (the UMH service that helps you find your dream job), employment tips, and much more.
