<\/a>At the UMH Occupational Observatory, our mission is to increase the employability of our students and alumni through tools such as internships, a job bank, training in professional skills and competencies, information on labor market dynamics, personalized guidance, and the promotion of entrepreneurship. Our functions include:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n- \n
- Management of student <\/span><\/span>internships<\/span><\/span><\/strong> , thanks to more than 7,000 collaboration agreements with companies and institutions. Over 7,000 internships were carried out through these agreements during the past academic year, receiving a 99% satisfaction rating from companies and a 98% satisfaction rating from students.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Promotion of <\/span><\/span>university-business relations<\/span><\/span><\/strong> through educational cooperation agreements, the <\/span><\/span>job bank<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and the Employment Days, which were attended by more than 1,000 people during its last edition.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Preparation of <\/span><\/span>reports on the labor market<\/span><\/span><\/strong> : needs, job placement of UMH graduates, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Organizing activities<\/span><\/span><\/strong> to facilitate job searching on the different campuses and advising students and alumni in the active search for employment.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Management of <\/span><\/span>business contact networks<\/span><\/span><\/strong> , with the dual purpose of promoting internships in companies for students and employment contracts for recent graduates.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Promoting <\/span><\/span>entrepreneurship<\/span><\/span><\/strong> , training, informing and advising students on the <\/span><\/span>creation of companies<\/span><\/span><\/strong> (more than 240 people advised last year), in addition to processing the presentation of their business plans to different awards and competitions such as the Innova-emprende Contest, in whose last edition 68 entrepreneurs participated with 41 business ideas.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

In addition, we launch various activities thanks to the <\/span><\/span>collaboration, funding and support<\/span><\/span><\/a> of various entities and Public Administrations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
The Occupational Observatory participates annually in the <\/span><\/span>Environmental Objectives Program<\/span><\/span><\/a> \u00a0as a tool for the improvement and recognition of our environmental behavior, and acts in accordance with the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Environmental Policy of the UMH<\/span><\/span><\/a> , which includes the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>environmental commitments<\/span><\/span><\/strong> \u00a0of the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche for the improvement of its environmental performance in its management, research, knowledge transfer and training activities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
